Recycling

In the process of uncovering over a century of finishes and accumulated junk, we are generating a lot of waste. As a result, we are grateful that our contractors from Jefferson Recycling are able to recycle a lot of what they are removing from the building. Sometimes they take away dumpsters filled with a single material -- like wood and metal and even old drywall, as in the pictures below! Even when they end up with dumpster loads of mixed materials, they sort through the loads back at their facility to identify any recyclable materials. Either way, we are grateful for their efforts!
