We certainly appreciate that this building, with its central location in Dover’s downtown and its rich history, holds a special place in the hearts (and memories) of many people in Dover and beyond.
We also know that many are interested to know more about our efforts to revitalize this great building so that it can once again become a vital centerpiece for downtown Dover.
In this blog, we’ll keep you updated on the progress of those efforts. In fact, right now we are in the midst of some interior demolition work, so stay tuned for some before and after pictures! (And don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list so we can pass along updates right to your inbox.)
My husband and I had a small store within the Richards building back in the 90s. I remember we needed some shelving for the store and the then owner told us to go downstairs and look around. Let me tell you it was so eerie in that basement, with pipes, wood, and old dirt. We didn't stay down there too long! It is a beautiful building and much history within it. Thank you for keeping this beautiful building.
